Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. If arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our airport team will meet you, assist with your luggage and introduce you to your driver-guide.
Proceed to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive with a picnic lunch. The park takes its name from the Tarangire River, which flows through the park and becomes an important water source for wildlife during the dry season.
Tarangire is well known for its large elephant population, giant baobab trees and the possibility of seeing tree-climbing African pythons. During your game drive, you may also encounter zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards and a variety of birdlife.
After the game drive, continue to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park, then transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport
After breakfast, your safari driver-guide will collect you from the lodge and depart for Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch.
Lake Manyara National Park covers approximately 330 square kilometres, with Lake Manyara itself covering up to 200 square kilometres when water levels are high. The park is an excellent destination for birdwatching, with flamingos often seen along the soda lake.
Enjoy a game drive through its lush groundwater forest, open grassland and lakeshore habitats. Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffaloes and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. You will also have an opportunity to stop at the hippo pool, stretch your legs and observe hippos in their natural habitat.
After the game drive, continue to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
