Take a morning flight from Zanzibar Airport to Arusha Airport, departing at approximately 8:00 AM. On arrival at around 9:15 AM, meet your safari driver-guide and begin the scenic journey to Tarangire National Park.

The drive takes approximately two hours. On arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the park. Tarangire is celebrated for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and diverse landscapes of savannah, river valleys and seasonal swamps.

Look out for elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and a wide variety of bird species. In the evening, continue to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.

The crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, formed around 2.3 million years ago. Its floor lies approximately 1,800 metres above sea level and supports around 30,000 large animals, as well as a remarkable variety of birdlife.

Search for lions, buffaloes, zebras, hyenas, antelopes and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic site near the crater lake before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Later, ascend from the crater and return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast at around 6:30 AM, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive.

Explore the park’s diverse habitats, including lush groundwater forest, open grassland and the lakeshore. Look out for elephants, baboons, giraffes and Lake Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions. The park is also rewarding for birdwatchers, with a wide variety of species found around the lake and forest.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing to Arusha Airport for your return flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.
