Day 1: Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park
Early in the morning, you will be collected from your Zanzibar hotel and transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Arusha, departing at around 8:00 AM.
On arrival at Arusha Airport, meet your professional safari driver-guide and depart for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive through this wildlife-rich park, with a picnic lunch served in the bush.
Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees and varied landscapes. The Tarangire River is an important water source for wildlife during the dry season, attracting elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and many bird species. With luck, you may also spot lions or leopards.
After your game drive, continue to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater, then return to Zanzibar
After breakfast, check out with packed lunch boxes and depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive.
Explore the crater’s spectacular landscapes while searching for the Big Five and other wildlife, including zebras, hippos, wildebeest, hyenas and gazelles. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the designated site near the hippo pool, surrounded by the beautiful crater scenery.
After the game drive, ascend from the crater and continue to Arusha Airport for your scheduled return flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
