Day 1: Fly from Zanzibar to Central Serengeti
At around 6:00 AM, you will be collected from your Zanzibar hotel and transferred to the airport for your 8:00 AM flight to Serengeti National Park. Pick-up time may vary according to your hotel’s location.
Arrive at Seronera Airstrip at approximately 10:40 AM, where your professional safari driver-guide will meet you. Begin a game drive through Central Serengeti, stopping for a picnic lunch at a scenic site inside the park before continuing with wildlife viewing into the evening.
The Serengeti is a UNESCO World Heritage Site covering nearly 15,000 square kilometres. Its sweeping grasslands support one of the world’s greatest concentrations of wildlife, including large herds of wildebeest and zebras, as well as elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, lions, leopards, cheetahs and diverse birdlife.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s great natural wonders. The crater floor supports an exceptional density of wildlife, providing excellent chances to see lions, buffaloes, elephants, leopards and the endangered black rhino, as well as zebras, wildebeest, hippos, flamingos and other bird species.
In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and continue to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 PM flight back to Zanzibar. On arrival at approximately 5:30 PM, you will be transferred to your hotel.
